Refund & Return Policy

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

Additionally, items that are customized, personalized, or specially ordered cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or in breach of Australian Consumer Law (ACL). In such cases, we will meet our legal obligations, which may include offering a refund or replacement. You must provide satisfactory evidence of the fault or damage along with proof of purchase.


Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us at admin@theseedvault.com.au within 30 days of receiving your item. To process your claim, we require the following:

  • Order number
  • Photo(s) of the damaged or faulty item
  • Proof of purchase (such as your confirmation email, invoice, or receipt)

If the product is found to be defective, incorrect, or not as described, we will offer a refund, replacement, or store credit as required under Australian Consumer Law.

We do not accept claims for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper care of the product.


Return Process

Once your claim has been assessed, we will provide instructions on how to return the item (if applicable).

📌 Important:

  • Please do not send items back without prior authorization.
  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit if returned without following our instructions.
  • Customer provides return shipping fee.
  • If a return is approved, we will cover the return shipping costs where applicable.

Replacements & Exchanges

If a replacement is requested, we will do our best to provide an identical product. However, if the item is out of stock, we may offer an alternative or provide a refund/store credit instead.


Refunds & Store Credit

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
  • Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank/payment provider.

Store Credit

  • If store credit is issued, it will be applied to your account or provided as a coupon code.
  • Store credit will be available within 3 business days after the return is processed.
  • Store credits remain valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Consumer Guarantees

This policy does not override any rights provided under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund, exchange, or compensation for any additional loss or damage.

For minor faults, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund, except in the case of seeds, where a replacement or refund will be provided.

We do not provide refunds or replacements for items that have been damaged due to misuse.

Certain rights and guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and other consumer laws cannot be modified or excluded.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any purchases made after a policy update will be subject to the latest version. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
